Have You Heard… Waaju – Grown

One of the best groups to come out of the recent UK Jazz resurgence has without a doubt been Waaju. Their debut eponymous album was a strong highlight of 2018 and helped to put the label Olindo Records on the map. The band are now all set to release their second album ‘Grown’ this coming Friday also via Olindo. You might recognise the title track from the last show I did. The new album feels like a natural progression from the last. There seems to a wider scope this time round and I think the result is a set even better than their first.
